ABOUT THE ARTWORK
By mixing different red colours and trying to direct the brush strokes in such a way as to mimic the chaotic, destructive nature of a wild fire, I created an image of a world that is burning. The painting was done by using acrylic colours and some markers. Thanks to the canvas being placed onto a wooden panel, the entire painting is ready to hang. The artwork is signed on the back.

Daniel Unger lives and works in Germany. Although Daniel‘s artworks are mostly made up of illustrations, drawings, sketches and paintings, he also delves into the creation of small, surreal animations and other motion design projects. His main source of inspiration were the works of many outsider artists, such as Mark Beyer or Sam Steinberg. Daniel successfully completed both the BA in „Communication design“ in Germany and the MA in „Visual and digital communications“ in England. His arworks were shown in exhibitions in Berlin, Germany and Wolverhampton, England. His latest works were part of the ANIMA MUNDI festival in Venice, Italy.
