ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My goal with this painting was to create a scene of beauty that also grabs attention. I started with a simple purple gradient background, and chose bright yellow flowers that, with enough layers and color depth, would appear to "jump off the canvas." I also used a gallery wrapped canvas for additional depth.
