Boris Moshenkov is a contemporary artist known for his introspective and thought-provoking works. He often explores themes of identity, self-discovery, and the human experience through a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, and mixed media. In addition to creating traditional fine art pieces, Moshenkov has also participated in a number of immersive and experiential projects, such as week-long silent meditations, intense physical training and being locked in an all-white room for 50 days, as a means of gaining greater understanding and insight. Moshenkov was born in Soviet Uzbekistan and later immigrated to Israel before settling in Canada. He has been recognized for his talent, being selected as one of the top 20 artists for the dearMoon program, a SpaceX initiative that will take 8 groundbreaking artists on a journey around the moon.
