I'm enjoying painting a series of pictures of women in bold colours, all with different expressions, some of them challenging. This one began to assume her expression well into the painting process. I can imagine she's been spun some line by a guy that she's not buying into. Or maybe a friend has just suggested that they both do something mad together??? Your choice.
