These sea-inspired jewel colours are beautifully accented by lighter tones and yellow hues that represent the reflection of the sky and light dancing on the water’s surface. When I see this, I think of that moment before you duck dive, lifting your face to the sky as you reemerge. It has been created with many layers of oil paint and a love for the water! There is a sense of tranquility and refreshment when swimming in the ocean, being totally immersed in two worlds, feeling weightless, safe and at ease. Each day I get to spend time in or on the water, is a beautiful one. Seems timely that this piece was finished on International Meditation Day! I hope it brings a sense of calmness and awe to your space with many beautiful memories made around it!
