About The Artwork
The artwork is a tribute to David Bowie. The subject is inspired by the "Alladin sane” album cover. An Ericsone’s remix of sharp and thick lines. With a grotesque expression, different to what we are used to see, in this minimal masterpiece, David Bowie has been brought into the cubistic street dimension of the artist. A candid light blue background, opposed to the black and white of the subject, makes it stand out thanks to the arrow designed on its face, turning David’s iconic face nearly in a cartoon.
