About The Artwork

Is Still My Name" I show a contemporary high performance cow. With two udders she surpasses - Hallelujah! - the high expectations of today's society. Following the brilliant artist Jean Dubuffet ("Everything is landscape") I show the cow in the landscape and the landscape in the cow: everything is cow!

Like the primordial mother of all living beings, the cow appears in every painting. In doing so, I bring colours that do not seem to fit together at first glance, into harmony and combine different techniques to create a vibrant production.  I draw from legends, myths and fairy tales, the current history and everyday life and spontaneously use figures, objects and pictograms - so that an expressive, wild picture can be created from the moment that surprises me, which I have never painted before.  Once I am closer to drawing, then again I fall in love with the surface. I am constantly repeating myself by combining both and observing the landscape growing in all directions. Humour and positive feelings are important to me, the smile of the understanding viewer is reward for the eternal struggle for the perfect work.  I am pleased when my art touches me, be it through the composition of colours, the symbolic content, the profound, the wit. Or if my painting simply fits over the sofa and the current mood. It's nice that my pictures found their lovers right from the beginning and that almost all of them sold. Many traveled halfway around the world, decorating cool apartments and holiday homes, medical practices, companies and hotels, hanging in Singapore, New York, Texas, Australia, Oslo, Hamburg, Salzburg... from Gstaad to Finland and Los Angeles.
