ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I painted this on a found wood board with a white finish. The painting was inspired by a picture of two women, eating hungrily. After finishing that as a first layer, I started with another portrait on top of that, blending and creating new perspectives. The work and technique of Jean-Michel Basquiat and also sampling, remixing and mash-ups are what shaped my style so far.
