childhood and summer 1 Painting

Presently I am mainly interested in oil painting. Therefore I am always looking for visual scenes or photographs which carry a dreamlike or surreal atmosphere even though they actually show realistic sceneries. I partly take pictures myself, partly I just find photographs which contain this certain atmosphere and which inspire a highly subjective inner Process of subconscious movements, like memories, emotions, imaginations and distortions. At the same time the chosen photographs initiate a process in painting, which tries to increase those first impressions by making the motives blurred or by adding unfamiliar sometimes surrealistic elements.
