Innovative digital artist
*Max Singer examines gender, sexual identity and societal taboos. Each image is a unique montage utilizing portraits of anonymous Americans from the his personal collection of Cabinet Cards and Carte de Visites from the “Gilded Age – 1865 to 1900”.
They are created using the unique digital PHOTO-EXPRESSIONIST, FOTOGRAFIX and other techniques Max developed over his 35+ year career working with Adobe Creative Suite and similar software.

*Max became enamored with Outsider Art and and the work of French Artist Jean Dubuffet. This led to his series called “FAUX NAIF”.

*His streetart limned a mythical place not unlike NYC. Over a 5-year period he drew over 1500 sidewalk chalk drawings plus another 500+ works on paper as part of his "free art project”.
