I was born 1957 in Germany. Since 1987 I am married and have two children. Painting, drawing, photography and writing are my old, beloved ways to express my dreams, wishes and my love to the living and the world. I picture life hopefull and also critical. Like Louise Bourgois, Frida Kahlo and Hermann Hesse I live the direct transportation of my life into art. Psychological, social and structural themes fascinated me very early. My first main interests were concentrated on the study of faces and buildings, drawing and the ideal use of colours. But till the age of 17, I evaded using colours, cause I wanted to be able to use them the way my inner feeling (eye) expected me to. I saw the possible beauty, and wanted to "catch" it at the very first time. Love at least offered me the optimistic spirit to try. I like the idea of fauvism, the movement in pictures - the artists Beardsley, Klimt, Vogeler, Chagall... the poet Hermann Hesse, Rilke, v. Eichendorff, romantik poetry for its rich imagery ... the unique poetic humour of the actor Hans Erhardt and the illustrators (and partly writers) of books for children D. Schubert, Kazuo Iwamura, M. Vormstein, Eric Carle, Svend Otto S., Barklem and especially Wildsmith, Carigiet and Grabianski.Writing became the other way for me to express.I write and illustrate poems and parables, write stories and fairytales in verses for children with illustration, paint and draw on various materials .... I love the material paper and natural products in general, and create individual objects with those "basics"...With my work, I kind of try to touch the things of life with a special care - with tender weightlessness and temper.
