Oil painting on canvas and also mixed technique on paper, Gad Tik. Gad Tik was born 1942 in Ramat Gan, Israel. Currently he lives and works at the Galilee in the Holy Land. In his current series of oil paintings, Gad Tik expresses his impressionitic view of the colorful landscape of the Galilee in the Holy Land. In his previous series of drawings, Gad tells stories taken from what he calls "the Theatre of life". But this is his theatre imagined, invented, packed with symbols. There are kids and adults, soldiers and people looking for connection, there is drama and awards and a lot of dealing with refugees. Gad's art has many details, and his paintings have a say and significance. The story platform is full of imagination, made up, often grotesque and always colorful.
