About The Artwork

• Using multi-Media techniques, “Tested Positive” shows a 96-year young Japanese MamaSan who got the coronavirus in February, 2020 while aboard the Diamond Princess Cruise. • Looking grim like a sad horse, she also lost her young PapaSan to the virus in the Cruise; and both probably got it from one already diseased who sneezed. Or the couple simply forgot to wash their hands in the bathroom after they changed partners while they danced in the ballroom. • Since the elderly are known to be 15% prone to contamination, their fatality rate is roughly 7%, more than twice exceeding the 2-to-3% death rate average. • Since the MamaSan got lucky to have survived the atomic bomb dropped by America on August 6, 1945 to end WWII in Hiroshima, she was last seen standing atop a hill in Iwo-Jima wearing a blue kimono, a thorny corona, and a war-torn bandana.
