ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I express tree branches in the forests by the use of lines in my paintings. The branches and all the other details in the forest are made up of painted interconnected lines in my canvas. The lines are stacked together to create a visual space called "forest". I start my painting with charcoal drawing lines. Then, I put colored lines on it. Charcoal naturally mixes with color. Personally, when I walk through the forest, I can powerfully feel and see the different colored lines repeatedly that makes up the entire forest.
