About The Artwork
This is again a painting from the series 'medical education' a series I started a while ago using the (very) old first aid instruction book from my late father, who in his free time was a fanatic first aid teacher. I start from drawing and go further with layer over layer etc with acrylic paint. I like the scratches, spots and damages in those old photographs, so I add them myself, as a 'translation from photography into painting' so to speak.
