About The Artwork
"During my student years I was deeply influenced by the work of Russian Avant-garde artists of the beginning of the 20-'s century. Colors of Kandinsky and analytical art of Filonov caught my attention. It was almost the end of the USSR at that years, so, revolutionary appealing art meant for me and my friends the beginning of the new life. After that came" Perestroika" and it only gave an additional strength to my exercises in achieving wild and bright colors and strong almost without any additional details expressive figures.
