I went to a drawing event at the Wolfsonian Museum of art in Miami,the only thing that appealed to me in the collection was a detail of a goat on a deco era candle holder I am also in the middle of reading a book on railway poster art from England from the mid 20th century this inspired the strong use of shapes,solid color and simplified theme....in order for the piece to be recognizable quickly As with all my art,as I am a tattoo artist,the image translates into skin,although this piece hasn't been applied to anyone yet

Originally I was born in the UK (yes I still have the accent) at 18 I spent 5 years living in Hawaii surfing and learning watercolor technique at 23 I moved to Florida and developed my painting i have always been creative,but my professional career started around 1996 I had been painting for fun,but started getting commission work.The tattooing started around 1998 when i completed an apprenticeship and moved to South Beach Miami and began tattooing full time in 2000 At this point in my career the paintings are more for fun and a product of tattoo research,and the tattoos i do by appointment only
