Alejandro Borgunder ( b. 1972 Uruguay) As a result of the military coup 1973 in Uruguay, Alejandro and his parents were forced to seek political asylum in Sweden. His interest in art started In the mid 80s, with the boom of the American New York based graffiti art. He studied painting at domen art school in Gothenburg, Sweden (92-94). After that He has had sporadic shows Both In Uruguay And Sweden. Such as MAC Museum Of Contemporary Art in Montevideo, Uruguay; where he received an honorary mention. Artist who have inspired him have been: Raoul De Keyser, Basquiat, Albert Oehlen, Louise Bourgeois And de Swedish Painter Torsten Anderson. He lives and work in Wales uk.
