The particular structure of the work with random gloss points always opens new perspectives, it invites you to change the perspective and explore the surface detail.
The energetic painting process is particularly noticeable in detail.
Pure Energy has been released here and captured on canvas.
The peculiarity of the highly pigmented, light oil colors can be seen in the detail of this 3 cm image. The structure surprises again and again.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In this painting an abstract work from the year 2012 was painted over several times. Komander wanted to know what form the image would take over time. It is a picture which should not be finished until summer 2014. Triggered by an emotional and impulsive moment of feeling the artist finished it then off yet. The painting process is expressive and the structures are full of energy, everything seems electrified. The contrasting color compositions together with the coarse and fine shapes create depth. The work works particularly from a distance of four meters and invites through its large, square format to enter. Immerse yourself.

To me, the world of images, is an explicable world. It grows before and within my eyes from inspiration, technique and my own hope, that something might happen which is entirely beyond inspiration and technique. In that I see it as a relative to the worlds of melodies, forms and rhythm. As it manifests through my hands, my brushes and my paints, it s a process of laying claim to something beyond possession. There is a certain sense of ownership through understanding in this kind of work. In the past years nature and especially the forest were a great source of inspiration for my work. On the other hand being exposed to city life I had the desire to bring "my" nature into the urban structure. Regulary I create installations in public spaces or initiate interventions with other artists (dancer, musicians, ...) - We recapture public spaces by artistic activities and pave the way for encounters of all kinds.
