It was about a month after I left my country that the movement got started there. It started with a movement of women against the obligatory hijab and the harassment against them. That were dark days for me since I did not know what is happening precisely while much harsh news every day I received. Sometimes there where no internet connection in my country to talk with my family, realize if they are safe and sound, if my husband is ok, and my female friends as well! It was a night I was thinking about every patriarchal attitude that I always had to tolerate as a woman. as well as all women in my country. how damaged was our hearts, how tired are our souls and how we got aged while we always were in a silent war for our first necessity as a human. We all can have the same portrait, A woman with rough hair, tough skin, with visible bones after all hunger strikes in reaction to offenses, begging for equality. This is a portrait of champion women.
