About The Artwork
Size: 30" W x 40" H (102 x 76 cm) This artwork is the metaphor that means how precious could be our memories. I called this painting My own Pensieve because the Pensieve is enchanted to recreate memories so that they become re-liveable, taking every detail stored in the subconscious. I tried to give my impression from the childhood memories using paint on canvas. During creating process I combined shades of ocher and deep blue and added some thin line graphic elements. I was adding paint layer by layer, so eventually a unique texture was formed on the canvas surface. This artwork symbolizes how many treasures are in ourselves.
