About The Artwork
The current political climate in the US has effected a lot of my work and this painting was created with the concepts of power, disenfranchisement, betrayal and bellicosity in mind. In the months after Nov of 2016 I often reminded myself that great art always comes out of struggle, often out of anger and a disbelief that reminds one of what exactly they do believe in. It is acrylic paint, ink and pencil on canvas.
