About The Artwork

This photo is part of the album "SOUTH SUDAN TRIBAL EXPEDITION 2021" In the Mundari cattle camps, kids are doing most of the daily work. Kids collect the fresh cow dung and put it into piles which are then set on fire. Those fire are useful as they repel the (extremely) numerous and voracious flies and mosquitoes of the South Sudanese countryside. ➤The limited edition is sold with an embedded white passepartout.Just for this size. ➤Date of printing: 10/03/2022 ➤Paper: Hahnemühle - Torchon 285; ➤My other photos. https://www.instagram.com/svetlin_yosifov/ https://gallery.1x.com/picsvet/overview picsvet@gmail.com

Svetlin Yosifov is a travel photographer from Bulgaria. Critics define his work as documentary-travel-art photography. In his interviews and publications, he reveals that good photography is much more than a snapshot or a memory, it is something that tells a story powerful enough to impact the world we live in and raise awareness. For more than 20 years, portrait photography has been his most fascinating genre. A photograph's impact comes from the emotion it reflects, he says. Svetlin Yosifov is attracted by the traditions of primary and natural places such as India, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba, etc. Over the years, his interviews and photographs have been published in many prestigious magazines and websites. His works have been preserved in the archives of a number of world organizations for the protection of human rights.
