Almost kiss - Limited Edition 1 of 5 Photograph

Concept of this Project implies my desire to show that in this crazy crowded life there are still beautiful love stories. I would like to show the bright side of busy life, to show that there is still place for hope, faith, romance, beauty, admiration, and embracement. Each relationship is different. I didn’t see two alike. We do not search and decide who’ll be deeply madly in love with. This just happens at one point. Define love...it is hard to find an answer. But definitely for me all couples I’ve photographed despite of their life style, age and status, they have something in common – they are gentle, playful, emotional, sometimes messy. Before arriving at a couple’s home, I know nearly nothing about my subjects. They are all strangers for me before we start photographing. The only prior communication is through social media, email and, as a result, I approach each shooting without preconceived notions or expectations. In this picture, a couple from South Africa living in London. She is gently kissing him. Tender touching. His QUOTE: To me, Love is something which everyone has. It cannot be given to you or taken away from you. I believe that the very essence of our existence is Love. If you take the time to feel the aliveness in yourself, that is what Love is. We all have it. You can feel it glowing inside you.
