About the Artist

Max Ballatore

Italy

born in Naples (1972) under the sign of the sagittario, passing childhood and adolescence in a not easy neighbourhood of the city, where living is not always easy and it's still more difficult to emerge. Since he was child he remains fascinated by the art, in particular that kind of metropolitan art that, through the pictures resumed by his objective, tell us about ourselves, our days, our life. His Naples is a full city of great energy and creativity but, unfortunately, with insufficient opportunities for who wants to be asserted in 'artistic' field, 'not rigorously traditional'. Max, lover of his job, following his dreams and his instinct, does not hesitate to leave Italy and to move himself before in Europe and then in the USA in order to deepen its knowledge and his professional experience. . Inspired by English fashion mood, then he moves to London, where his 'various fantasy' captures teams of creatives. Max, beyond fashion photography, loves a particular type of reportage, that one regarding social denunciations, and he engages to tell sometimes difficult truths, always remaining far away from cases exploitation, rather trying as much as possible to discover the better side of the things. Reportages 'the Angel' and 'Living Room' express better than many words what Max Ballatore loves to tell with his objective.
