B B & W PASEO is from a collection of photograph examining urban life in the cities of Souther California. It is part of project that includes paintings, drawing and small sculptures of a theses "The Good, Bad and politics of poverty" Where poverty is defined not only as a financial state but as a phycological state of the American Scene. This image, like others I have created, illustrates a state of mind, our comfort zone, the images and places like our malls which we have made part of our phycological and environmental homes with expectation. Our cultural history allows us to create institutions of our needs or supposed need and desires to make our lives sensible to us.
