ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was reviewing some photos I took in 2013 and ended up finding a little bird on a branch. I was wondering that if I used a digital feature to leave only the silhouette of this scene, on a white background, it would result in a very interesting minimalist art. And that's what I did. The result pleased me a lot, both for its aesthetics and simplicity. I imagine the audience will like it too.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
