Blue - Green (ブルーグリーン) 2003 - Limited Edition of 8 Photograph

The above image is entitled ‘Blue Over Green' and from a Series of landscapes shot around Japan between 2001-2005 . This image was taken in 2002 near Nigita Japan , exactly where I can’t recall but the location isn’t important and I like the fact I’d probably never be able to find it again. The image has a strong relationship with an earlier work ‘Red bridge’ and was produced with similar sentiments / concept .Technically this was shot on 5/4 large format colour negative as 3 frames , the format is irregular Technically this was my first experiment with ‘stitching’ or merging of frames to create a panorama of alternate dimensions, as with the red bridge It’s part municipal part mundane but on closer inspection is anything but normal.
