Bridge Over Icy Water Photograph - Limited Edition of 12

Study looking at the human constructed aspects on natural beaches, found on the island of Crete. Shown is a harshly weathered wooden bridge over an ice cold, fresh water stream, that runs to mix in with the sea(Almyros) . I wanted to focus on the contrasting textures within this image, specifically the surface where the effect of the elements on the wood make the bridge seem delicate in contrast to the rough and rugged concrete, sand and rocks . This could symbolise the permeability human kind through natures elements, will nature always win?. As I was focusing the camera on the bridge, I accidentally also captured a brave young boy floating downstream. Paper Size: 34inches by 24inches Image Size: 30inches by 20inches
