New work from the coastline of California. Revisiting the iconic landscapes through Muir woods to San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel by the Sae, San Simeon, Santa Barbara and to Los Angeles. Taking in the Rolling highland hills merging into the roaring Pacific Ocean, surrounded by beach palms and windswept pines bowing to mighty redwoods, over shaded quiet inlets shrouded in sea mist. Beautiful botanical adventures. Collaged from my original photographs, which I thread together using pencils and acrylic paint to create a tableaux inspired by my travels. Fine Art photographic print, professionally printed on fine art Giclee cotton 308 gsm gallery paper using archival pigment ink. Signed, numbered with certificate of authenticity. Featured in VOGUE, The New York Times, The Guardian, Ideal Home, World of Interiors and ENKI magazine. Nadia creates photographed details made on location which are then layered to form a tableaux of collected scenes within a scene, together they convey a sense of place and time. Often the original photograph disappears from documentary single imagery toward a more painterly poetic interpreted view of the world. Applying washes, paints, chalk to the constructed images. Aesthetica Magazine writes 'Nadia Attura works with layering techniques to create complex compositions. Often grappling with ideas of idealism and paradise, the bright images are multifaceted tableaux, combining unexpected objects, settings and colours to construct uncanny depictions of desirable destinations." Nadia's artworks sold out at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in both 2019 and 2016. In 2018 her work was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Her work features in prominent residential and public projects across the world. Nadia graduated from The London College of Printing with a Postgraduate in Photojournalism. She works as a fine artist based in London. Larger print sizes and ready to hang artwork is available upon request by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
