According to Wikipedia......The term "chimera" has come to describe any mythical or fictional animal with parts taken from various animals, or to describe anything composed of very disparate parts, or perceived as wildly imaginative, implausible, or dazzling. The sight of a Chimera was an omen for disaster. Chimerica, borrows this concept, and is the fusing together of two countries; China and America, into one imaginative, implausible beast. They love to hate each other, they hate to love one another.

Originally from Columbus Ohio, I graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Architecture, where I worked with the Architectural theorist Jeffrey Kipnis on my first large scale installation, a back-lit wall of bee's wax. Two years after graduating, I moved to New York in November of 2001. Since that time I have been working as an artist, engaging with various mediums and styles of art, with a studio in the Brooklyn, USA as well as in Eltville, Germany.
