About The Artwork
A collaboration with The Artwork Stylist. This collection of images was my first opportunity to work extravagantly with multiple blooms per composition and to capture the smashing process in action. The final images have a quite graphic, monotone feel which is easily incorporated into an interiors palette.

I am a botanical alchemist. I use liquid nitrogen to transmute botanicals from soft biological things into something momentarily fragile beyond even the most delicate porcelain. I then gleefully smash or fracture these specimens and photograph the results – quickly before they disintegrate into oxidised mush.
