About The Artwork
This is a detail of Gaudi's work on the roof of a world famous modernist house in Barcelona. Notice the mosaic shards distributed at random on the left using the trencadis technique which resembles the skin of a snake or any sort of reptilian and the imbricate tiles on the right looking like scales. Both parts tied to a central spine that wags and arches as the dragon finds its way into the sky.
