Summer 2018, a sun drenched afternoon walking in Duke Botanical gardens in Durham, NC. At the beginning of the XX century, the French painter Claude Monet forever changed our perception of water lilies by creating over 200 paintings depicting the flowers in his Japanese style garden in Giverny, Northern France. This digitally modified photograph is my homage to the impressionist genius and to two amazing gardens, Duke in North Carolina and Giverny in France. As Monet famously said: "The richness I achieve comes from Nature, the source of my inspiration."
