Photography is my way of communing with the Universe, Source or God ...whatever one may call that divine essence.” A celebrated, award-winning nature photographer, Phoenix was the featured artist for the first Endangered Exhibition in England and recipient of two artist residencies - the Olive Stack Gallery in Ireland and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, two prestigious art grants and eight public art projects. When not traveling, Phoenix's primary photography studio and sanctuary is South Florida's wetlands and the Everglades in particular.
