Photographed at Golden Stairs on Montreal River in Algoma, Ontario, during multiple visits across a few years. THE FLOW series. The motion and currents of water are like invisible flows of individual interests, emotions, desires, aspirations, and ideas in our social structures. More often than not, the conditions of our lives are the outcome of it. Observing flows at the water's edge might lead to reflections about the complexities of processes so hard to identify. AN AQUEOUS STATE. The "An Aqueous State" is a framework of my mindset exploring water as an elemental medium of Life. It is unquestionably due to the water molecule's invisible properties, polarity, and heat storage capacity. The first one allows the ionized environment for biochemistry and the neural network to exist. The second stabilizes the thermal range of Life "living Conditions." The simplicity of it all is striking. The invisibility is abstract, the complexity is fascinating, and the weight of consequences is far greater than our socially constructed realities would allow us to digest.
