About The Artwork

El Cid Campeador, Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar El Cid was a Castilian nobleman and military leader in medieval Spain. He was called El Cid (the Lord) by the Moors and El Campeador (the Champion) by Christians. He is the otherwise real but made legendary national hero of Castile. He was born in Vivar del Cid, a town near the city of Burgos. Long after his death, El Cid remains an idolised figure in Spain. The character and his name have been immortalized in plays, film, folk tales, songs, and videogames.

I've had a creative impulse from a young age. My art is a means of self expression and to create images that I can revisit and enjoy. Inspiration is not something I can quantify. My artwork recreates a mood or a feeling, I also like making purely decorative images. Hopefully other's enjoy my artwork.
