About The Artwork

The city of Rio de Janeiro has a singular relief, historically expanded right between the sea and several mountains, such as Corcovado and Sugar Loaf. We have here the largest urban forest of the world, Tijuca Forest. The entire state is cut by mountain chains that still preserve, in some areas, forests that date back to the discovery of Brazil. These images are not simple landscape records, but more a starting point for another dimension. What attracts me is the possibility of fable, of seeing the mystery and seeking the unfathomable that lies behind the image. Fine Art photographic printed on fine art Giclée cotton paper Canson Edition Etching Rag 310g using archival pigment link. Limited edition print signed and numbered by the artist

Brazilian, I live and work in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Photography for me is contemplation. But despite a personality given to the observation of the attitudes and reactions of others in various everyday situations, I only started to photograph in 2008. I am interested in photography that has an affectionate eye over all things, whether it is the one that approaches the human being as an individual or as an element inserted in the landscape, which manifests itself as a pure concept, which is remembrance, amazement or insufficiency. But I can photograph jelly beans. The yellow ones, if I'm given the choice. Since 2012 I have settled in the Bhering factory, in the port area of the city of Rio de Janeiro, where I seek to develop new activities as a photographer and establish partnerships in the area of Creative Economy, such as Design Week Rio, "Buda de Fora", "Fábrica Aberta", SOMA and Internal Circuit, events that bring together visual artists inside and outside the factory, with open studios and works, portfolios and creation processes presented directly to the public by the participants.
