Feeling Red Photograph

This series is an exaltation of the female form and a curious study of the dynamic between medium and subject. By focusing on the medium between camera and woman, the medium itself becomes the subject. It expands and amplifies the self-expression and movement of the woman in both reflection and displacement. The medium contains the woman, and the woman gives the medium its shape. The photograph reveals a single instant in time yet clearly in flux. The red fringe appears to float and curve in waves, echoing the female shape. The colors are alive and sensual bright red against deep blue with an erotic undertone. This collection works well in pairs or groups. All of my fine photographic art images are printed by a local independent printer with an outstanding eye for detail and color, using an Epson SureColor P7570 printer and archival UltraChrome pigment ink on Hahnemühle Museum Etching 100% cotton fine art paper. Sizes are approximate. All are inspected, and signed on the front. Please allow two weeks for your print to be created for you.
