Fenchurch II Photograph - Limited Edition of 8

From the Within Series Large scale conceptual digital collage Edition 3 / 8 Accompanied by signed and numbered - Certificate of Authenticity from André Lichtenberg Studio Within Series is an art project supported by the Arts Council England. The Series was inspired by the artist childhood memories of urban black-outs and early architectonical drawings, while growing up in South Brazil. The artwork is created by a digital collage of nearly 100 detailed architectural photographs, all captured by the artist in several visits to the location. The artist then recompose the final image in his studio, recreating the scene in high detail, using a process that blends drawing and photography. The final piece took over a month to be completed. The Within Series was recently exhibited (June / July 2015) as the artist first solo show in Brazil at the prestigious Galeria Bolsa de Arte. The project was also exhibited as a two artist show called "Time & Place" in Central London in April 2015 and at international art fairs including: Art Dubai 1014 and SP-Arte / Foto 2015 The project has been selected for the Aesthetica Art Prize 2014 (London) and several artworks from the Series are now in private and corporate collections in Brazil and UK.
