ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This was taken about a week after the 'Wood near Quarr Abbey' series. Firestone Copse is just inland from Fishbourne, where the car-ferry arrives at the Isle of Wight. Again, the day was quite cold as I left my bicycle by the side of the small road and scrunched into the wood with my tripod and camera. As before, I arrived there in the afternoon and the day was overcast, so the light wasn't very strong.
