About The Artwork
This work consists of 9 panels. The original work was made for a fish-theme exhibition. A picture of a fish swimming in Spanish harbour water was manipulated in 9 different ways. The positioning of all 9 panels creates a fishlike flowing movement. The original images are Lambda photoprints on pearly paper, each image measuring 30 x 30 cm and all panels silver aluminium framed (50 x 50 cm) with passe-partout and behind museum glass. The complete original work was issued as a limited, signed and numbered (9) edition and each edition will be shipped without the frame and glass, but together with the passe-partouts. I am Yannik. Designer and artist. Raised in the periphery of the Rotterdam harbour. After many years of professional practice in the Netherlands as a graphic designer (identity design), I then lived for a period of ten years in France and Spain working as a digital artist. Recently I moved back to Scheveningen in the Netherlands to focus on art for strengthening corporate identity goals and my childhood passion: making portraits, unlike other!
