I am a visual artist working in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. I am working with the theme 'ecology as inspiration for art and culture' for several decades now. The butterfly (as symbol of beauty, freedom and motion) is often the subject in his outdoor projects. My latest project is the interactive art installation 'Line out of the horizon'. The portrait of 'Alessia Messina' from Florence with as title: 'Line uit of the horizon' is a part of a cultural exchange between Florence, Italy and Nijmegen, Netherlands. This project has resulted in several different pieces of art, such as photographs, net art and video's, which you can find below. My most recent work is the video 'Line out of the horizion'. 'Line out of the horizon' Cultural exchange Nijmegen Florence In this artwork the portrait 'Line out of the horizon' of Alessia Messina, which was a part of a cultural exchange between Nijmegen (The Netherlands) and Florence (Italy), is displayed on the internet. In this work it is surrounded by both ancient art masterpieces from Italy, as well as some elements from Nijmegen (like the Valkhof chapel). This very fine piece of artwork is available to everyone, simply by entering the terms 'portret renaissance Florence' Boudewijn Corstiaensen - visual artist Contact: b.corstiaensen@planet.nl Website: http://www.vlinderkas.com
