Fly baby Photograph

This was such a typical once in a lifetime opportunity to capture a jumping humpback whale that requires a lot of patience and a lot of luck. Given the size of the whale, it rises from tens of meters depth without knowing where it is going to jump. Strangely enough, you photograph the sound that makes the jump just before the whale comes out of the water. The photo was taken from a sailing boat on the high seas off the coast of Australia. With much of my photo art the situation can be predicted, conceived or registered, but in this case you have to rely on your feelings, experience and have a lot of luck. This photo has been digitally edited and printed on plexiglass only slightly.
