Size: 12x18 with 1-inch white border. This is a signed print: 6/18. This photograph was taken the Boston Public Garden, looking out over Arlington Street towards the Arlington Street Church. The morning I took this photograph, I didn't originally have my camera with me. I was walking towards the park when I noticed it was almost totally submerged in dense fog, with thick clouds of steaming rising from the ground. It was an incredible sight. I ran back home to grab my camera; in hopes the fog would not disappear too quickly. It didn't. I was able to get several photographs in before the steam began to dissipate. I walk through that park multiple times a day, and I that was the only time I've ever seen the fog so strong in there. It was a unique sight to behold. I go to the park multiple times a day, and I have seen the fog as dense as it was the particular day.

I am an artist by necessity. I wake up every day with a constant craving to create. Art is the way I see, understand and relate to the world. I’ve lived my life mainly exploring two creative mediums, photography and abstract art. Photography is essentially an outdoor activity for me and my companion, my dog Oliver. He jauntily explores new smells of the city while I walk in wonder, and connect with my camera. Looking through my photographs, you may notice I don’t have a primary subject of focus, and few of my photographs include people. Instead, most of my photography explores the union of urban life and nature, because I feel in that intersection a striking resonance, and a diverse expression and range of life in all its forms. Cities don’t always conjure up an immediate image of solitude and grace where nature and noise overlap, but in that apparent conflict I have always felt a harmony that keeps me going, and inspires me creatively. I hope that in my photography you can feel the peace and contentment that I experience in its creation.
