Fragment 10 Photograph

Fragments series centers on Desire, Anger, and Ignorance. These three evils are the root of daily suffering. The craving and the longing for the impermanent pleasures haunt the soul of mankind. Each square within the grid of sixteen represents a dialogue between the past and a vision of the possible future. The imagery has been created by deconstructing and fusing together real world forms to establish a snapshot of the unknown. The human mind trains the eye to seek patterns and merge these patterns into a recognizable complete image. Abstraction of the real world allows the mind to detach and travel to an unknown space and future. Each square in the grid of sixteen is a 4" x 4" dye-sublimation print mounted on a single 55% opaque white acrylic sheet and has custom made z-bar wall mount bracket. Images are created using on lens filters and long exposure photography.
