Ryo Utsunomiya is a Japanese visual artist born in 1988 in Hyogo, Japan. His photographs have been featured by National Geographic (Your Shot, Animals) and BBC Wildlife Magazine, and are held in the collection of the Asago Art Village Museum, Japan. He has exhibited in public art museums and galleries, while also curating exhibitions that foster international artistic exchange. He was selected as a finalist in Wildlife Photographer of the Year, organized by the Natural History Museum, London. His work has been further internationally recognized, including Photographer of the Year at the MUSE Photography Awards (2024), a Silver Winner at PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris, a Silver Award at the WPE Awards, and a Gold Winner at the New York Photography Awards. He was also ranked World No.5 in the One Eyeland Top 10 Wildlife Photographers (2024).
