This work was inspired by a desire to provoke conversation specifically related to the donation of body organs and the role that animals are playing in bio-technology. In this work I have hand molded body parts from polymer clay. They are like tiny caricatures of the real parts they represent. The work suggests body parts being grown or kept alive. Miniaturisation reduces these works to specimens, making them much less threatening and one is drawn in to inspect the contents more closely.
