Hand cut paper in the Landscape Photograph

As Michigan born, Nebraska-based cut paper artist and painter I cut out shapes about water. Water's physical and metaphysical powers to unite, circulate, connect and sustain continue to inspire me to hand cut with an X-acto knife patterns in paper, Mylar and Tyvek to create two dimensional, sculptural and installation work. The work interprets bodies of water and environmental issues ranging from the ecosystem breakdown in the Great Lakes to the Yampa River in Colorado to groundwater issues in Nebraska.
