I flew for many years before a stroke "took my medical". It is a little over 100 years since the first powered flight, how things have advanced, even during my career. Now an I-Pad is standard equipment on the flight deck, here one is used during a let down procedure, and this I-Pad replaces a 10KG suitcase of full of let down charts and an untold amount of fuel used to carry that 10 KG.
